Enid Williams began gigging at 14 in the all female rock band Painted Lady and in ’78 the group became Girlschool.  After hundreds of gigs the band toured with Motorhead and released their first album ‘Demolition’.

This was followed by the top 5 silver single ‘Please Don’t Touch’ and the ‘Hit and Run’ album which went gold in Canada.  After worldwide touring and gigs with Black Sabbath, Rush, Uriah Heep and a headline slot at Reading Festival, Enid left the band in 1982.

She gained a post-graduate music diploma at the Guildhall, ran a vegetarian cuisine company, toured with English National Opera, wrote and produced 4 short operas at the I.C.A, performed in West End Musicals and wrote and presented astrology for cable T.V.

She also gives private astrology readings. Enid will be taking bookings next year.

Enid runs rock music projects in schools and with ‘Rock Pop and Soul Singing’  has taught hundreds of people to sing.

In 1999 she rejoined Girlschool and has since recorded four albums and performed at gigs and festivals in Europe, South America, U.S.A. and Japan
